Well shit. Natasha hadn't been expecting Araceli to be able to take her down with her. But she recovered quickly. She dodged the punch and went to knee Araceli in the gut, once again not nearly as hard as she would've done if it was a Strigoi. But it was still hard enough to take her out of the game if it worked.
I think I'm losing my touch T.T

Her fist hit the floor a second after Natasha dodged and she scowled at the pain that shot through her hand. She was then kneed in the gut and she winced and gasped for air and griped her stoumic and she huffed and sturggled to her feet not willing to give in. That was a good way to get herself killed if she was fighting a Strigoi. And if she gave in fighting Nathasha she was more likely to give in against a Strigoi. She managed to get on her feet and she looked at Natasha knoing she would be up by now with hiw long she had been trying to get up.

Natasha scrambled to her feet as soon as Araceli was off of her. She then charged at her and aimed to kick her feet out from under her. If that happened, she would easily be able to pin Araceli and win the fight.
At least she hoped so. So far, it was hard to predict Araceli's moves. She could tell that Araceli would be a formidable guardian when she got older. She hoped she would be around to see that.

Ara yelped as she saw the kick coming just but wasn't ab;e to avoid it and she hit thr ground. There was no way she could get up before Natasha had her pinned so she had to do something. She wasn't exactly fond of the idea of punching Natasha at the moment because well her fist hurt like hell but she would do what she needed to do. Now how to win this fight? She closed her eyes for a slpit second and she she opened her eyes she was thinking 'Natsha isn't here. I'm fighting a Strigoi. You can not give in Ara.'[/color][/i] She looked at the Guardian that now had her pined down but she wasn't going to give in even if it looked like she wasn't getting up. She struggled and huffed annoyance.

Natasha waited a moment before releasing Araceli from her grip and standing up straight. She smiled at her and offered her hand to help her up.
"I win" she said, trying not to sound smug. She couldn't help it. She enjoyed winning. Was that so wrong?
There was a glint in Natasha's eyes however. Something told her that this fight wasn't over. But she wasn't exactly sure what to expect.

Ara was about to bite Natasha. Not hard enough to draw blood or anything but enough to make her let go she hoped. But then Natahsa got up saying she won. As if. Ara wasn't ready to give up. When Natasha offered her hand to help her up Ara took it and yanked hard. And she rolled over pinning Natasha to the ground again this time with her knees on her gutand her arms on her wrist and she smiled. "Sorry, but I don't give up that easily." She wasn't going to bother trying to throw a punch cause that would give Natasha an opening. No not going to happen.

You would think that by now, Natasha would expect anything. But that was a hard lesson to learn. She smiled up at Araceli.
"Wouldn't want you to" she said. Her attention was taken by Jonathan.
"As much as I love watching a good catfight," he joked, "I'm getting slightly impatient. Besides, I'm not the biggest fan of someone pinning down my faince. Especially when it's not me."
Natasha glared at him, unable to keep a smile off her face however. She then turned her attention back to Araceli.
"May I get up now?" she questioned, cocking an eyebrow at her. The smile was still on her face.

Ara blinked and let the "I'm fighting a Strigoi" focus slip away. She beamed and looked over at Jonathan and laughed. She rolled off of Natasha and got up and reached out to help the guardian up the fierce gilnt now gone from her grey eyes. Ara was back to her normal sweet self. "I honestly hadn't expected to win. You know... cause... I am a freshman and yo are a fully trained guardian. The odds were not in my favor. And I will beat myself if I let it get to my head." She smiled and let her hair out of her pony tail and shook her head. Ugg... she needed a shower now. She would take one as soon as she got back to her dorm.

Natasha allowed Araceli to help her up. As soon as she was on her feet, Jonathan walked over to her and wrapped an arm around her waist. She smiled at him breifly before returning her attention to Araceli.
"Don't worry about it. I was going soft" she said as she winked at Araceli.
"It'll be interesting to see you two fight when you, Araceli, are fully trained and everything" Jonathan commenting. He smiled at Araceli as he brought his fiance closer to his side, despite the sweat that was on her body.
"Yes, we will most definitely have to do this again," Natasha said happily, "and next time, I won't go easy."

Ara smiled. Yea the needed to fight again. "Looking forward to that fight. Wonder how I'd stand up to you when you aren't going easy on me. Guess I'll have to find out." She wiped so sweat away from her face and smiled happily. "That was fun"

Natasha smiled.
"Yes it was" she agreed. Jonathan smiled at her and then turned to Araceli.
"Well, it sure was fun to watch," he commented. He smiled at Araceli. "I'd hate to get on your bad side."

Ara smiled at Jonathan. "Well that shouldn't be too hard to stay off of. Just try to keep your fire away from my brother because he is better than I am and... the two of us aren't very fire compatible... And I'd rather not think about it too much... cause it's pretty depressing. The rest of our family died in a house fire two years ago. And now Dante is uber over protective over me. Fire and the two of us don't mix well... but I try not to worry too much about it. Now let's go and do something happy shall we?" She smiled and forced the thoughts of fires out of her mind. And for once it worked.

Despite how terrible of a story it was, Jonathan's lips couldn't help but twitch slightly in amusement. Araceli was so willing to share her life story, that it amused him. She really was a friendly girl. It was a good thing and a bad thing. She would have to be careful not to be taken advantage of in the future. But it sounded like her brother would be there to protect her from that.
"Just try not to get on my bad side and I'll make sure it won't happen" he joked. Natasha elbowed him slightly in the ribs. It wasn't quite enough to hurt, but it got her point across. But Jonathan just smiled. He knew that no matter how annoyed Natasha sometimes acted, that she really was amused by his lame jokes. His jokes that were so lame, they could actually be funny.

Ara shook her head and gave a small smile. "You aren't on my bad side but if Dante thinks I'm in danger then that person is instantly on his bad side. So... I don't think you are going to have too much of a problem with that." She shrugged and looked towards the couple.

"Good," Jonathan said, "'Cause I'm not afraid to burn some Dhampir ass if he messes with me."
Natasha elbowed him harder this time and he grunted. A small smile came to his face none the less and she rolled her eyes. Although Natasha knew that he wasn't being completely serious. She knew that he would only do something like that if it was truly in self defense. She was sure that Jonathan would try to talk Dante out of it before actually attacking him.
"A Dhampir could kick your ass any day" she said, smiling smugly at him. It was Jonathan's turn to roll his eyes as he pretended to not believe that fact, though he knew that it was most likely true.
