Jonathan walked casually through the hallways. He was still getting acquainted with the school. He noticed a few people stare and start to whisper. They obviously had no idea who the hell he was. Not like that surprised him. Jonathan wasn't nearly as well known as his friends.
He nodded at a couple guardians as they walked by. They gave him emotionless nods back and didn't even pause. Jonathan smirked slightly. For some reason, guardians amuse him. Don't get him wrong, he had the highest respect for guardians and what they did. But that didn't mean that he couldn't be unusually amused by them. Maybe he was amused by them because he knew that what they showed on the outside, was not what was going on in the inside.
He eventually just shrugged it off to himself. What did it really matter?

As Zeo found himself walking the hallways, he was just getting acquainted with the surrounding areas as well at the school layout as a whole. The school from what he could tell so far, was wisely built but it didn't necessarily mean that things weren't going on. He had feeling this was sort of the calm before the storm, he couldn't be sure what was going to happen but he felt nothing was ever truly just black and white their were many shades of gray as well. As he paused slightly his red eyes giving him the opportunity to look at the young Mori who was walking down the hall.
He finished his step and smirked slightly, realizing why this one so familiar. This was Jonathan Ozera. Given he hadn't seen the boy in a couple years. He'd met him a few times at court although he'd been a few years older, he'd seen Vaslissa Dragomir, Rosemarie Hathaway, and the other girl Natasha Contrarez. He'd been at court when Rose had made her daring escape with the help of Dimitri. He had a feeling the Queen's death had been too sketchy and he'd had a feeling despite Rose's words with the Queen that he'd heard her say, she wasn't one to murder, and he'd have a feeling she'd of left more evidence if she had.
It was nice to run into familiar face when this school was packed full of people he didn't know. He had just happened to be at court for a couple of months with Hollow and her family for the court candidacies to find out who would be the new King or Queen, he'd be lying if he wasn't pleased to the Vasillisa on the thorn, although her half sister Jillian had been surprising but it was a something that they couldn't deny. He blinked not sure what to say or if he should say anything at all. He only personally knew Dimitri, Lisa and Mia, he'd help her practice defending herself, when he happened to be at Court which was more or less several months out of the year. He was finding that he was starting to miss Hollow, she was a very happy little girl and was always nice to him, tried quite a few times to make him laugh, and succeeded a couple of times.

Jonathan glanced casually at the man, not showing how surprised he was to see him there. He smirked slightly and stopped walking, turning towards the man.
"With those red eyes of yours, Zeo, someone might mistake you for a Strigoi" he said nonchalantly. He glanced around him, watching the students walk by. Some teenage girls stopped and giggled as they whispered to each other, not being very subtle as they stared at Jonathan and Zeo. Jonathan sighed and shook his head. Teenage girls had never made much sense to him. Especially now. Instead, he just sent them an uninterested look, trying to subtly tell them that their giggles and whispers were pointless and that they needed to move on with their lives.

Zeo smirked his lips pulling back in a grin, as he showed his teeth. Keeping his expression somewhat emotionally under control. He let his eyes stay on Jonathan Ozera but he did gaze around so he was aware of his surroundings. His body relaxed but ready to fight if the moment arised. He stepped to the side away from the girls and more out of the way instead of being in the center of the hallway. "If I did that how would I ever close enough to kill them? They let their guard down easily enough" he said with a smirk.
"Don't get me wrong it sucks when you almost get staked by your own back up" he said it as a joke but he sounded as through he was a little serious as though it had actually happened once or twice. He cast another look around and closed his eyes briefly, finger trailing roughly though his short hair. "Why are you here anyway, last I'd heard you were at Court" he said his voice smooth his accent wrapping easily around his English words. He stood tall and at the ready incase anything should happen, his stake tucked into his inside dark brown trench coat pocket, as he was dressed casually in a pair jeans and a red t-shirt which signified he wasn't on duty yet and it looked as though he'd just arrived, small duffle bag wrapped in his right hand as his hand was arched behind his back as he held it behind his back close to his shoulder.

"Don't get me wrong it sucks when you almost get staked by your own back up"
"Did that serisouly happen?" he questioned, rasing his eyebrow in slight shock. He doubted it had actually happened, but you never know.
Jonathan smiled and shrugged when Zeo asked him why he was here.
"Natasha's the new head guardian here, and I decided to join her over here" unlike Natasha, Jonathan didn't hold any details back. He was extremely proud of Natasha, even if neither of them knew why she had the job. She was possibley the youngest head guardian in history, but he wasn't sure. Jonathan had never quite liked history, so he didn't bother remembering it any longer than he had to.

Zeo shrugged nonchlantly and looked him in the eyes listening to him ask his question, so he seemed to think it wasn't possible but oh it was, it wasn't fun to have to watch you're back like he did, but he knew just how he would fix it all he'd need to do was get a little bit more a tan and he'd be set, at least this was his plan it didn't mean it would work. "It's happened almost three times and one time a nice scar to go with it" he said as he eyed him watching the young man's expression.
"Natasha?" he questioned his eyebrows drawing together in confusion, that name sounded familiar. "What's her last name? Is she the one who was always with Rose Hathaway and the Queen?" he asked a frown twisting on his lips. "Wait a second, she's only nineteen....why is she head of the department here......nevermind maybe she can explain why I was pulled away from Hollow Slezkey just to wind up here when I doubt I'm needed" he said looking at him. "Where can I find her, I need to report in anyway" he said talking to Jonathan yet some his sentences almost sounded as though he was talking to himself. That always seemed to happen when he suddenly felt rushed like he did now. As his brain was working faster then his mouth could keep up. His accent thick and heavier around some of his words.

Jonathan nodded.
"Contrarez" he answered Zeo's first question. He couldn't help but smile slightly as he thought about how that wasn't going to be the case for too long. Anyways, he nodded in reply to the rest of Zeo's questions. He couldn't help but smirk slightly at Zeo's shock. But a frown came upon his face when Zeo said that Natasha would probably know why he was here.
"I can call her up and see is she's available, but she might not know why you're here. Hell, neither of us know why she's here" he told him, his brows slightly furrowing together at the thought. It didn't help that the previous head guardian had been murdered.

Zeo nodded slowly listening as he told her last name. He arched an eyebrow as he heard him say that even they didn't know why she was here. "Yeah, why don't you see if she'd available, we could always meet her at Headquarter she's probably there anyway" he said with a shrug, as he shifted his bag, letting it hang down from his fingers as he flexed them, working out the cramps in them.
He shrugged for a moment thinking it over. "I'm not sure why I am here, but apparently it was a special request courtesy of the Queens' Royal Guard Dimitri, I'm not sure what he could possible think I'd be able to help with Mr. Davinich (I made it up as no one said what his name used too be) was the previous Head Guardian here, what happened to him, did he get demoted or something retire?" he questioned not sure how Natasha was even qualified to run these Guardians here, and he was sure, she wouldn't have much respect from the Guardian's here, now Rose Hathaway on the other hand, could probably get half the guard to follow her to their deaths, but this Natasha Contrarez. He'd seen her like once years ago. But she'd have a lot of prove if she was going to earn any respect around here. It was how things ran, respect and loyalty ran a long way....where he had the respect....the loyalty wasn't there and it was all his mother's fault. It was no secret why she left and what she had become....but everyone assumed he would leave too, become another traitor just like his mother.

"Yeah, why don't you see if she'd available, we could always meet her at Headquarter she's probably there anyway."
Jonathan nodded and went to start walking that way, when Zeo started saying something else. He nodded.
"Dimitri is a good and wise man, he probably knows what he's doing. As for Guardian Davinich..." Jonathan glanced around uneasily at the students around them. He noticed some pause close by, only a few feet away. He sighed and shook his head, muttering words even he couldn't make out under his breath. It was hard to have a private conversation when everyone had enhanced hearing.
"We can talk about that when we get to Natasha's office" he finished. He used his eyes to convey the message to Zeo. The students didn't know that Guardian Danivich had been killed by someone who wasn't a Strigoi. And it needed to stay that way for now, until they found the killer. The last thing the school needed was a bunch of students panicking. But unfortunately, as far as Jonathan knew, all of the staff members had been interviewed and they had all passed.
He shook his head once again as he went to start walking in the direction of Natasha's office.

Zeo looked at him a frown forming on his lips as he sighed softly and followed after Jonathan. He kept up with the mori easy enough as he ran his fingers through his hair. He paused mid step for a moment as he heard what Jonathan said, but then had yet to finish his sentence...so it would seem he had died and the murder wasn't a strigoi, that would of been too hard to kill him and it was highly unlikely no one would of seen one at least strigoi on the grounds, with him being the only casuality it was a good assumption to say this murder was an inside job...and that new's flash was enough to make him hiss in displeasure.
"Not a problem" he said to him as he continued to walk keeping up with Jonathan without any problems. He was more or less in his own little world after hearing the man was dead, but he didn't have to think of the how and the why. All that mattered was keeping the students safe, if their was one murder commited their could always be more casualities as much as he hated to say it like that. He tried to think of some small talk, but he didn't have the best social skills or anything.

When they finally got to Natasha's office, Jonathan opened the door and walked in. He smiled when he saw Natasha. She was on the phone and she held up a finger at him, telling him to wait.
"No, I said extra pepperonis and cheese, I never said anything about extra bell peppers... I actually never said anything about bell peppers in general" her tone was slightly argumentive, which let Jonathan know that this must not have been the first mistake the person on the other end of the line had made. His eyes twinkled with amusement when he realized that she was ordering a pizza.
"Yeah, just drop it off at the front gate. The guys there will call me and I'll get it from them... thanks" she finished the phone call and hung up with a sigh of relief. She turned her attention to Jonathan and smiled at him. She was about to greet him when she noticed the other presence in the room, Zeo. She smiled politely at him and stood up from her desk chair.
"Sorry about that" she apologized. She looked at the two men. "Is there anything specific I can help you with?"
Jonathan gestured at Zeo. "Zeo here has a few questions."

Zeo tried to keep himself from staring and keeping the look of what some could call outrage from his features he did a good job at that. His first impression of her was not what he had expected. To see the Head Guardian ordering pizza wasn't exactly what he'd been expecting to find to see her doing work or something was one thing but pizza seriously? He just let it roll of his shoulders, this was what he should of been expecting considering the girls age after all.
Whoever wanted to run St. Vladimir's into the ground was doing a damn good job of it by electing this girl to be head guardian. It didn't matter that she was from the Royal Guard, at her age she lacked the experience and expertise needed to run this Academy's defenses as they needed to be run. He took a breath as he listened to Jonathan talk, he had been very careful to keep his emotions to himself and keep his body relaxed as his anger rolled through him easily enough, but he was always in control of himself at least that was what he told himself.
"Yes, what happened to Guardian Davinich?" he questioned cutting straight to the point. He had his suspicions but he couldn't voice them on the walk over and Jonathan hadn't wanted to be overheard so he hadn't asked. He decided that was the best question to ask right at this moment, while he was here could wait it wasn't terribly pressing anyway. He had time to adjust get used to the way things ran here.

Natasha managed to keep a blush from her face when she realized that she already ruined her first impression. Well, that was just great. But hey, it was lunch time and she was starving. She was also getting sick of microwave meals. So who could really blame her?
Natasha cleared her throat slightly and reached down and opened one of her desk drawers. She pulled out a file and handed it to Zeo.
"Guardian Davinich was murdered by someone within the academy. Someone who is not a Strigoi and is most likely still here. Unfortunately, there are no leads at the moment since they couldn't find any cause of death," she explained, "in this folder is the death report and the interviews with the staff. They were inconclusive."
Natasha ran a hand through her hair. She turned her attention to Jonathan when he spoke.
"Are they going to interview the students?" he questioned. Natasha shrugged.
"Some want to, others don't. It's a stalemate" she said, shaking her head slightly. She left out the fact that that now everyone wanted her and the Headmaster to decide, but neither of them knew what to do.

Zeo took the file from her as she handed it to him. He started to read through the files starting first with the Guardian Davinich's death. He would need at least a few hours to go through the facualties interviews. As he finished a quick scan he found himself frowning slightly. "We can rule out the Guardians, whoever did this must have been a Mori, no Guardian would be able to kill someone without the use of physical force or at least a weapon" he said as he closed the file and looked at Natasha, his red eyes accessing her.
"Can i borrow this for the next few hours?" he asked her as he put the file under his arm. As he listened to her answer Jonathan's question. As much as he hated to think that the murder could be a student Mori no less he could t ignored the possibility that it was as likely as one of the teachers. "Who is the deciding factors in interviewing the students?" he questioned already having a vague theory that it could be the Headmaster's decision and her own that would decide if they were be allowed to interview the students. While it was a good idea, things could get tricky if they went about this the wrong way.

"We can rule out the Guardians, whoever did this must have been a Mori, no Guardian would be able to kill someone without the use of physical force or at least a weapon."
Natasha nodded. "True, but we can't rule out the fact that this could've been a conspiracy. If any Dhampirs were involved, whether they did the killing or not, they are just as guilty."
Natasha's eyes glanced around in the typical guardian manner. It was tough for all of the staff members now. No one knew who they could trust anymore. If you paid attention to their whispers, you could tell that their minds had already decided who they thought was the most likely suspect.
"Can i borrow this for the next few hours?"
"Of course," she replied, nodding, "that's just a copy, the Headmaster has the original. Just remember that not only are students not allowed to see it, neither are the staff. We don't want them seeing the results of other's interviews. Everyone is suspicious enough of each other as it is."
Natasha and Jonathan's eyes met. Zeo and them were the only people who were not considers suspects, but only because they arrived after the murder. But she knew that if they didn't get anywhere soon, they would have their turn in the interview room. Natasha hated interview rooms. Especially when she was the one being interviewed.
"Who is the deciding factors in interviewing the students?"
Natasha turned her attention back to Zeo, sighing quietly. Many people were quick to judge her and how she handled the job. But first off, she hadn't asked for this job. She didn't even know why she had it. She was nineteen, she couldn't even legally drink yet. Second off, many people underestimate the pressure that comes with the job. Not only is she in charge of the secuirty that keeps the school safe, but she has to always be in control, always be a good role model. Add the fact that she has to work extra hard to earn everyone's respect, and you've got one hell of a situation.
Natasha's eyes met Jonathan's once again. She could see and feel him urging her on, telling her that she could do it. That he believed in her. She resisted the urge to sigh again as she turned her eyes back to Zeo.
"The Headmaster and I are," she admitted, "but it's not an easy decision and we've been having many discussions about it. We've been trying to find a way that pleases everyone, while still helping us move forward in the investigation. There is one idea that he came up with, but I'm not sure what some will think about it..."
She trailed off, unsure about whether to bring it up or not. The Headmaster had never told her not to tell anyone, but he had also never said that it was ok if she did tell someone. God, her life was so complicated.
