Nationality:: California, USA
Family: Natillie (mom, Alchemist. Alive) Gavin (dad, Alchemist. Alive) Garyson (younger brother, alive).
History:
When Adalyn first learned about the Night world it was thanks to her father. He started teaching her at a young age of seven about the other world, the world other humans didn't know about. She caught on quickly to her lessons. Her mother at first was apprehensive about Adalyn learning the arts of the alchemists but she changed her mind once she saw how well her daughter had a nac for the things she was learning. As she excelled in her classes and her life and her alchemist training was she given her her lily tattoo on her left cheek, under her eye. She also has a tattoo that runs up her right side, a black tribal design with a few swirls and a large flower that trails over her stomach and on her sides. The tattoo fades to a teal-carribean blue, and the petals are red with black marks that swirled through the petals. She also has a small scorpio symbol on the base of her neck, that is black and fades to the color of her tattoo on her cheek with a small floating golden ball at the end of the devilstail. She doesn't tell the meaning to most people and in the middle does the ball holds a small black heart in the center.
Her father mentioned to her boss that she was ready to be given a real assignment. Her boss decided to give her an assignment where she would be visiting St. Clarinets where she would join some of the Damphir's in letting the Mori and soon to be Guardians allowing them to know more about the Alchemists and what they did and how to get in touch with them if they needed them to help get rid of any Strigoi bodies. So this is how she wound up her, having yet to meet the Headmaster or mistress or the Head of the school guardians. She personally felt someone else should of been given this task but she had a feeling it was a way to keep her out of trouble and away from the dangers that were really out their, but she couldn't be sure it was only a theory.
Grade: N/A.
Martial Status: Single

Just Promise One Thing…[/glow][/shadow]
Personality: When she around Mori or Damphir's tries to act tough and show no fear. She's actually afraid of them slightly. She thinks they are evil creatures just like the Strigoi. She will easily get defensive if asked about herself or her family, but with a little coaxing she tell you. She isn't very trusting when she first meets someone and it will take her a while to warm up to you. She's actually pretty jump, so she really doesn't like it when you sneak up on her or surprise her at all. She is secretly open minded and curious about the Damphir's and Mori, but good luck getting her to admit it.
Adalyn when she warms up to you is very fun loving person, she's a little nervous about things, but she's only human and very easily breakable so her fears can be realized when faced with people who could easily over power her. She is despite her persona of being so strong is easily hurt by someone's words and is insecure about herself. She can be sarcastic and she does try to crack jokes sometimes but they kind of suck. She can be rather soft spoken when talking about herself and feels their isn't much to tell when it comes to talking about her past. She is very dedicated to her job. She hates the Strigoi, as one of them that killed her Father... When she is nervous or stressed she'll smoke, but it isn't very often and it's only to relax.
Likes: Reading romance novels to action, music from classical to heavy metal, she likes a varity, curling up watching movies a varity of those too.
Dislikes: Damphir-Damphir relationships,Strigoi,Mori and Human relationships, she thinks it's wrong. Mori and Damphir's has been taught that they are evil creatures of the night just like Strigoi. (I'd like to at some point maybe make her see the errors in thinking that way)
Fears: Death to those she counts as friends, Dying, Being useless or unable to do anything to save someone she cares about.
Hopes: For their to be a day when the Alchemists won't be needed anymore. For it to be possible to save all of the Strigoi freeing them from their days in the dark, and letting them see the light. For herself...well to have better understanding of Mori and Damphir's and perhaps find somone at some point.
Power: None, just her potions and things for getting read of Strigoi.
Roleplay Example:From X-Men Revolution Laura De Costa:
Laura stretched her arms up above her head and yawned, her fingers stretching up, as if reaching for the ceiling she wouldn't be able to touch. She sat at her desk reading over a few papers from her students, it was a simply essay about their history and their take on the Xavier Institute. She always found it interesting to get their opinion. If any of them had a negative outlook on the school, she would shove them on the Professor and have him fix the problem, unless it was something she could possibly help with. Sometimes it was something as simply as not understanding a battle technique, and she would find time for whoever it was and give them some pointers and help them until they were able to do it without her help.
Her fingers rubbed her dark green eyes as they closed. A lot of people ask why she's teaching and she teaches for reasons she hasn't talked about. Roberto is why she teaches...he always wanted to teach the children...so she is doing that for him. She will do her best to help them but sometimes she doesn't have the patience for her. She has always been rather impatient.
The memories came faster then she'd been able to stop them. Grief struck home, it'd only been years ago. She shouldn't of cared this much. Her fingers touched her throat, before rising to her mouth, hands gripping tightly at her chin. She couldn't cry, she was X-23 for Christs sake! Roberto had taught her a lot, he'd opened a side of her a place so few people really saw, they had seen that side of her when he was alive.
She was drew in a deep, ragged breath and closed her eyes, fighting back the tears. She stood up, so quickly and with enough force that her chair hit the ground as she shoved herself to her feet and paced toward the window gazing up at the stars. Her relationship with her daughter was strained....Roberto was the one who was good with kids, he was supposed to be here to help her! "Why did you have to die?!" she demanded to no one as she spoke only to the walls that enclosed her.
