"MORGAN!!!! GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE NOW!!!" Morgan knew that tone. That tone was not good. Not good at all. Either he was in serious trouble or something serious that was trouble was about to happen and Viv was calling on him to give him orders. Neither option was appealing at all. He grimaced and lowered the book he had been reading before hastily snapping it shut, tossing it on the couch he had been laying on two seconds ago and then standing and beginning to make his way up stairs to Viv's room where she had summoned him from.
Swiftly he ran up the stairway. He knew better than to keep her waiting when she yelled for him like this. He had seen what she does to people who make her wait even for little things, and he didn't want her to do the sort of things she was actually capable of to him ever. It was strange how Morgan could actually be terrified of Viv most of the time he was around her, though he would never admit that to anyone. She always just naturally had this power over him. What it was even he couldn't describe. Their relationship was pretty strange. They looked after each other in their own odd ways even though they were meant to be creatures who were selfish to the core. He did what she asked, when she asked because he was somewhat afraid of her and also because he knew it was better to be with her than against her. And she looked after him like a normal person would a pet. And although he knew she liked him better than any of the other strigoi or humans she called minions, he also knew that she would cut down any of them without even blinking if she felt like it.
Morgan hesitated slightly before his hand reached the handle of Viv's bedroom door. He had a bad feeling. He knew she must of heard him outside there so he quickly jerked the door open and shut it behind him after he had entered her quarters. He took a few steps away from the door. The previous jolt of fear mixed with anger his body had conjured when Viv had called for him disappeared as he put on a relaxed bravado and actually faded into it. He folded his arms across his body in a neutral manner and waited for her to speak.

Viv was still leaning against the wall when Morgan walked in. She regarded him with a stare for half a second then she stood up straight and looked over at the window and frowned. She wanted it to be night time. Soon though. She turned on her heels and looked at Morgan. "We are going hunting. Dhampirs. And maybe a Mori but I'm not sure. As of now I know there is Guardian, two novices, and another guy. And the Guardian is the one who killed my minions how ever long ago it was." She waved her hand to show she really didn't care when it had happened or really much about it at all. Two minion's died and she filled their positions quickly. This town was full of like she loved to rid it of.
"But I figured that they just stopped to eat dinner at a place that will take them awhile. Pleanty of time for it to get dark and for us, meaning you me and a few others, to get over there and lurk in a dark ally until they pass by. I'm feeling rather hungry and I'd love to find somthing that might actually put up a fight. Because those thight fight back tend to taste sooo much better." She grinned darkly and sat in a chair crossing her legs. She was sure Dhampir blood might spark Morgan's interest. It caught Viv's attention that was for sure. blood was amazing, Mori blood tasted the best But Dhampir blood held an unique blend of Human and Mori blood that was sooo much better than plain old human blood and a close second to pure Mori blood. At least that's what she thought. She couldn't wait to sink her fangs into someone's neck though.

"We're both fine, thank you" Natasha said politely as she handed her menu to the waitress. Jonathan nodded in agreement and also handed his menu to the waitress. As soon as the waitress was gone, Jonathan grabbed two breadsticks, handing one to Natasha, and began to chew on his. Natasha examined hers slightly, as if she really wasn't that hungry. But in actuality, she was starving. Her anxiety was messing with her appetite, however.
Natasha remained silent as her eyes scanned the room. Sure, she still had many comments she wanted to let loose on the two novices, such as the fact that apparently food was more important than their lives, and Natasha's job. She hoped that they knew how lucky they were that they were with her, instead of one of the other guardians. No doubt any other guardian would've dragged their asses back to the car. But Natasha had always had a soft spot, if you will, for toublemakers. That was why Natasha still doubted that she was good for the job. She wasn't a leader.
"This is good bread" Jonathan muttered. He tried to think of a joke to hopefully put Natasha at ease, but nothing came to mind. He watched as Natasha finally bit into her breadstick. Jonathan rested his free hand on Natasha's thigh under the table.
"So, Dante, right? Have you learned how to use a stake yet?" Jonathan questoned the boy curiously. He couldn't remember what year it was the novices learned to stake a Strigoi. But mostly he was just trying to start a nice, normal conversation. The atmosphere had gotten slightly tense since they first entered the restaurant, and Jonathan had never liked bad atmospheres.
He rubbed Natasha's leg, trying to comfort her. He felt her relax ever-so-slightly.

Dante watched the server as she turned her attention to Natasha and patiently waited for her order with a friendly smile on her lips. "We're both fine, thank you." The young head guardian said informing her that neither herself or Jonathan would be eating off the menu tonight. Dante wasn't really that surprised that Natasha had decided to tell the server that the two of them wouldn't be ordering anything. He had been guessing that the they had been talking about doing something like that while they were hidden behind their menus earlier. It made sense that Natasha would think it better to not eat. She had probably thought it would be quicker if they didn't eat even though she was probably starving. Sacrifice was a guardian thing after all. But Dante was a bit surprised that Jonathan had also decided to do the same as his fiance and go without. Their server moved away from them and he watched the two of them intently. Jonathan hastily reached for the bread sticks the young woman had left at their table and handed one to Natasha before taking one for himself. Maybe Dante had pegged him wrong after all. "So, Dante, right? Have you learned to use a stake yet?" Dante's previous thought of his judgment on Jonathan quickly vanished from his mind.
Dante Ricci.. initial reaction... is he joking?
He must be joking. Because he cannot be serious. The question repeated itself within Dante's mind. "Have you learned to use a stake yet?" No theres no way he could be serious. But either way Dante's reaction to Jonathan was far stranger than anyone could of predicted. He could feel the others staring at him waiting for him to say something. But instead of harsh words leaving his lips, he laughed. A full friendly genuine laugh. The kind of laugh that only his sister and close friends could produce from him. Jonathan who Dante so far thought was a complete tool, had made him laugh, and at something that wasn't even that funny. Dante wasn't sure if it was the casual way he had asked the question, or the fact that he had spoken while chewing a bit of the bread stick, or just because the thought of him not knowing how to use a stake was so silly to him, were the actual reasons behind his laughter or not... but either way he didn't really care. He just thought it was funny.
It wasn't at all like him to react like that in places like this to a simple normal question. In fact his normal reaction would of been something that you shouldn't say to anyone ever. But at that point in time he could not control it. He just had to laugh. Thankfully he wasn't as loud as he sometimes could be.
Rapidly he tried to regain his composure. He looked away from Jonathan, who probably thought he was on crack, and out toward the window. Then just as quickly turned back to the Moroi and answered his question with a simple reply. "Yes." He laughed softly. "I have learned how to use a stake." Dante reached for the basket of bread sticks and slid it over to Ara. He then grabbed one for himself and pushed the basket back to the middle of their table before munching into it. Maybe it was the lack of food that was making him a little nutty but from his side of the table Jonathan wasn't seeming as annoying as he did when they had left the academy.

When Natasha said that she and Jonathan wouldn't be getting anything she blinked at them. Now she just felt terrible. they weren't goign to get to eat now because she was stubborn and refused to go with out a full meal. Ara was seriously beating herslef up in her head but she made it look like she wasn't and she stared out the window. When Jonathan spoke however she looked at him and then at Dante waiting for a responce. HEr grey eyes widened slightly when her brother started laughing in the way that only she could get him too laugh now and she grined and nuged his leg with her own and he started to calm it down and then he answered, 'Yes. I have learned how to use a stake.'
Ara leaned against him for a moment then sat back up and took some bread and ate it slowly. She couldn't wait to learn how to use a stake. Knowing that would mean a better chance at servival in a fight. And servival was a good thing. She was about to say something else when her and Dante's soup came. she took the spoon and looked at the soup and sighed and put it back in the soup and puched it across the table to Nathasha and Jonathan and smiled faintly. "Don't starve on our account. Normally they bring more bread id its wantted so stuff yourselves on bread and keep the soup." If they told her to eat her soup she would let it sit there. it wasn't her soup anymore it was Natasha and/or Jonathan's soup now.

Masked by the casual vibe he was trying to give off, Morgan stood silently and watched Viv as she stared through one of the large windows in her room on the second level of the mansion they had taken over and now temporarily called home. The blonde's slender frame was leaning against a wall not far from the minion she had summoned. She gave him a quick look then returned her attention to the window. His unique talents for predicting people were on the shelf when it came to Viv. He had no idea what was going on in her head. But then again no-one really ever did. She could be whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted... whether she wanted you to know it or not.
In the time Morgan had spent under Viv's control he had learned many valuable lifedeath lessons, one of the main ones being that when it came to temperaments like hers it was always best not to **** with them. Cause only idiots **** with forces that will **** them over just for the hell of it. From experiences in his past he had quickly learned that it was always best to shut up and let a woman speak rather than say anything at all whenever you got the feeling that they were pissed. And even though Viv technically wasn't a woman she was still female, which is why anytime Morgan had been called by her like this he shut up and waited for her to address him.
Viv let her eyes peer outside at the scenery below for a few more moments before suddenly turning to face Morgan. He remained in the position he had taken up upon entering her quarters. His eyes never left her as she spoke and told him of the hunting trip he would soon take part in. He nodded as she said "a Guardian, two Novices, and another guy." The other guy had to of been the Moroi Viv's spy saw. Morgans posture remained unchanged outwardly but on the inside he was beaming. This was definitely going on the list of better things Viv had called him to do. Tonight wasn't going to be boring at all.
In all honesty Morgan didn't really give a shit about the fact that the Guardian they would be torturing later on in the evening, was also the one who had destroyed a few of Viv's other minions. They were idiots who couldn't follow simple instructions. The b**ch actually did Morgan a favor by taking them out because that meant that he didn't have to do it himself and he didn't have to clean up after them anymore.
Viv waved her hand indicating that she didn't actually care about them either. Morgan knew that already, and he also knew that even though he was her right hand man, Viv would rip his head off in a second if she wanted to. Though on the other hand, if he got the chance to off her, he would. She could be a real ****ing b**ch to him at times.
The thought of Moroi blood made Morgans attention span shorten. He only caught fragments of Viv's sentences but rather than asking her to repeat herself, which would defiantly cause him loss of a limb, he quickly re-winded what she had said and attempted to make sense of it all. The four future victims were out somewhere having dinner. It would take them a while to eat, and during their meal time Viv wanted Morgan and some of the others to get to their location and set up a sneak attack. He grinned. He liked this plan, he liked it a lot.
Morgan looked at Viv and nodded. She was one hundred percent right about those who fight back tasting better. He wished the sun would hurry up and disappear so they could get to the restaurant and grab their meals. His eyes looked past Viv and the chair she now lounged on. Outside the sun was beginning to fade, which meant that soon enough they would be able to begin the hunt for some prime Moroi and Dhampir blood. This was going to be good. It had been a little while since Morgan had tasted either type of blood and he could now feel the lust kicking in.
Morgan did not doubt Viv's source of spies or the information she had relayed to him. No one was stupid enough to give her anything faulty and expect to be able to walk away from it. He didn't need to question what she had told him, so he didn't. "I say we have about twenty minutes before sundown. He said with a laugh.

Morgan's grin made Vivian's own smile darken. She knew Morgan would like this plan. Why wouldn't he? When you were Strigoi your life force was human blood. Dhampir and Mori blood were delicacies mush like for humans had their desserts or foods that weren't often had. That was what the Mori and Dhampirs were to Strigoi. And Viv planned on getting some tonight. One way or another... But she had plenty of these delicacies in her after life. She would be willing to Give Morgan the first catch. Only because there were four of them and the first one she could spare for her right hand man.
'I say we have about twenty minutes before sundown.'
Viv chuckled at that and nodded. "Then you better get you ass in gear and gather up some people. And leave Lily home. Last thing I need is her getting hurt of something because she would end up dead and what not" She growled at the thought of her sister dead. Vivian babied her and had such a soft spot for her. If anything happened to her Vivian would freak out and a shit load of people would be dead then she would be mostly over it. But Lily wasn't going so the dumb asses they were hunting tonight couldn't kill her.
She stood suddenly and looked at Morgan and then walked right past him and gathered up some of her minions and let Morgan gather some others. She waited by the front door and as soon as it was dark she threw open the door and went off to where Dave said their pray was. As soon as she was their so looked at Dave. "Okay Dave where are they?" She spat.
"Right there." He pointed at a window were four people were sitting. "And the car is this way." Viv grinned darkly as she was let to he car and as soon as she was there she looked at Dave.
"Alright good job get yourself some food or something." She said handing him so cash and she watched him leave. "Alright we go a few blocks towards the restaurant and we hide in an alley way. Got it?" She snarled. She didn't wait for a response she just left and picked an alley and hid in the shadows so that no one would see her as they walked by. Now all that was left was to wait for them to walk by. Then the fun would begin.

Natasha couldn't help but blink slightly in shock when Dante started suddenly laughing. She glanced around slightly, wondering if someone had tripped or something. But nope, it didn't appear that anything that hilarious had happened, in her opinion at least. She and Jonathan shared a look, both wondering what the hell was so funny. When Dante answered Jonathan's question, they figured that it was the question Dante found so funny. But... why? Natasha turned her attention to their surroundings, so she wouldn't look at Dante like he was crazy.
"Uh, that's good" Jonathan commented, luckily keeping his expression neutral. The waitress then came and they watched as she gave Dante and Ara their soup. Natasha's brow furrowed in confusion and Jonathan raised an eyebrow ever-so-slightly when Ara pushed her soup away from her. When she offered them the soup, they both opened their mouths to protest, but fell silent at the determined look on the young girl's face. Jonathan and Natasha shared a glance, each telling the other to take the soup. They both knew the arguments that were running through the other's mind. Eventually, Jonathan just pushed the soup towards Natasha and gave her a look that told her not to argue. She would need her strength, just in case. He had a point, so Natasha grudgingly took the soup.
A little while later, it was dark outside and not even Jonathan's presence could make Natasha relax.
"Can we get the damn bill already?" she muttered impatiently, looking around. Jonathan chuckled, although the sound came out a bit more nervous than he would've liked. He was starting to get a bad feeling about this.
"Dante" Natasha said quietly, to gain his attention, as she slipped him the extra stake she had brought under the table, just in case. "Just in case." Natasha had always been the type of person who liked to be prepared for anything.

As they sat at their table waiting for their soup to arrive Dante noted that things had become more relaxed between the four of them. This was mostly due to the fact that he wasn't still directing negative energy at Jonathan's head like he had a bullseye in between his blue eyes. He leaned back in his seat and stretched out a bit. Time passed and they made small talk about classes and things of that nature. Mostly Ara and Jonathan spoke about things Ara had learned, while Natasha and Dante sat back and listened. Dante was glad to see Ara being happy and not worrying about anything for once. While she was speaking she had that 'I'm completely excited' expression on her face. She usually got that when she was wrapped up in something and was able to forget about the rest of the problems going on in the world. It was a good sight to see. It had been a while since Dante had heard his sister speak so enthusiastically. He missed this.
Not that long after they had ordered their server was beck in front of them setting down their meals. She placed the bowls before them gracefully with ease as if she had done this a thousand times, which she probably had. Then she asked if they would like anything else at the moment. "No Thanks." Dante said in response to her question. She smiled, said that she hoped they enjoyed the soup and then returned to whatever else it was she needed to do. Dante looked at the large bowl before him and as steam coming off the soup drifted into the air he breathed in the delicious aromas of the hot ingredients. It smelled absolutely amazing and he couldn't wait to dig in.
Dante picked up his soup spoon and just as he was about to dip it into his bowl Ara slid her own bowl toward Natasha and Jonathan. The two of them knew better than to protest Ara's offer of her meal so they had no choice but to accept the soup and eat it whether they wanted to or not, though it was pretty safe to say that they indeed actually want it. Dante watched Jonathan reach for the soup then pull it close and give it to Natasha. Ok, so maybe he wasn't that bad of a guy after all. Dante felt guilty but he was starving. He looked at Ara then slid his soup closer to her so they both could eat it. It wouldn't fill either of them up, but at least they would have something in their stomachs to replace the hunger pains that he was pretty sure they both were feeling. Dante picked up a few of the bread sticks on the table and began to munch on them. He would let Ara have more soup than him even though he was hungry, she was his baby sister after all.
This was probably the quickest meal both Ara and her brother had ever had in their lives. Which wasn't entirely a bad thing as it was becoming pitch black outside. "Can we get the damn bill already?" Natasha asked while examining their surroundings. She seemed to be on edge. Dante understood that. It risky these days for both Moroi and Dhampir alike to be out among humans at this time, with all the things going on in their world. Dante looked more closely at her, she seemed to be even more anxious than before. He didn't like that. It was probably nothing. Probably just a normal Guardian thing, but at the same time Natasha's vibes were making him feel un-easy. He looked around the room searching for a server to signal that they were done and were ready to pay, but they all seemed to be preoccupied, and the young woman had had served them was nowhere in sight. "We can probably just cover it at the front." He said whilst about to get up from his seat. He didn't like the feeling swirling around inside him. He wanted to get out and get back to the Academy. "Dante. Just in case." Underneath the table the cold weapon brushed against his finger tips. He was not expecting this at all but instantly he took it silently from Natasha. He nodded as he tucked it into his inner jacket pocket, then stood up and tucked his chair in. The others began to stand as well and tuck their chairs in as Dante had done mere seconds ago.
The four of them headed for the front reception desk. Dante felt even more un-easy then he had before. He was a bit shocked that Natasha had given him a stake but at the same time he was glad that she had trusted him enough with it, though he was inwardly praying that tonight would not be a night that he would have to use it.

Ara smiled slightly when Natasha started eating the soup and she looked at Dante when he slid his soup between them and she took a few bites and handed the spoon off to Dante. She shared with him like that and ate her food quickly as soon as it came but still talked to Jonathan about her schooling mostly free of other thoughts. The food was really good but she didn't enjoy it as much as normal. Everyone was just too on edge. She waited for the check and didn't blame Natasha for grumbling about it. Ara was eager to get out of there. Faster they could get to the car the better. She looked over at what the guardian had given her brother and say the silver of the stake and she glanced at Natasha and seriously hope that Dante wouldn't be needing that.
She followed Dante to the front and as soon as they were all paid for she walked out and towards their car practically glued to Dante's side. She wasn't going to say it but she was officially scared. She wasn't sure why but she had a really bad feeling as the four of them walked back to the car. She frowned slightly as she looked around but she felt slightly better. They were almost to the car maybe five blocks left to go. And then her eyes widened as an arm laced around her waist and a hand covered her mouth as she passed an alleyway. She reached for Dante and let out a muffled cry of alarm as she was pulled towards the alley and her fingertips barely managed to brush his hand.
As soon as she was in the shadows she was tossed to a boy and the girl that pulled her smiled darkly. "Ooohh Damphir girl. Fun fun. There you are Morgan you can have her. Take her farther back or something to eat her I really don't care. But you should have fun. She might just be a screamer." Vivian laughed and turned away from the novice and waited for the rest of them to come after the pitiful girl.
Ara squirmed and tried to pull free but she wasn't strong enough to pull away from a Strigoi and she didn't know where to kick or hit to make him let go and she growled in frustration. Damn it Natasha had been right. "Dante!!" She screamed still attempting to get away.

Natasha had seen the hand strike out from the alleyway, but she was already too late. She spun around, stake already out and in hand. But suddenly her oxygen was being cut off and she was being slammed against a wall far into the alleyway. The hand around her neck tightened and she knew she only had seconds before the Strigoi snapped her neck. But her stake was on the ground and the Strigoi was strong.
Said Strigoi suddenly burst into flames.
The grip on Natasha's neck disappeared as the Strigoi screamed and flailed his arms around uselessly. Natasha dove, grabbing her stake and jumping back to her feet all in one move. She staked the Strigoi from the back. The Strigoi screamed once more before falling limp.
Natasha turned around, about to run to Ara and stake that blood bitch of a Strigoi right in the heart, but their was a sudden thump behind her. She turned around in time to see Jonathan fall to the gound, unconscious.
Shit. There went their fire.
This is the best I could do and I feel bad T.T
