Ara walked down the street with Dante, Guardian Natasha Contrarez, and her fiance Johnathan. She was soooo happy to be out and about. She had gone to her brother about it first and then when he said it sounded aright, even though it took a bit of convincing seeing as last time she left she got hurt, she went to Natasha and got her to agree to come with them. And of course Johnathan tagged along. Ara welcomed him though. His fire ability had both a conforting and frightful effect on her. After all Fire was amazing against Strigoi but Fire killed pretty much her whole family. But you know what she liked Johnathan he was a good guy so she tried to push the fire somewhat out of her mind but it would never disappear compleatly.
The four of then had been out and about all day and Ara had been practally glued to her brother's side pretty much the whole time. Safe to say she had missed hanging out with her brother while they weren't talking and now was a great oppertunity to catch up a bit and get back in the normal flow they had around eachother because that hat been totaly screwed up before but it was all good. Ara was just as happy as she could be. She still had a great relationship with her brother, she was out on the town and away from the school. Sure it was only for a bit, only a momentary escape from her boring life always on campus but it was enough for her. She would enjoy the time she had away from there and buy some more things than she already had that day.

"Everybody, stick together" Natasha said sternly. Jonathan laughed, causing Natasha to raise an eyebrow at him. "What?"
"Oh, nothing. You just sound a lot like a teacher. I should've known it would happen someday" he said humorously. Natasha elbowed him playfully in the ribs before returning her attention to their surroundings. She was a guardian and currently on duty. This wasn't time for her to play around and have fun. She let out a low grumble about how there should've been at least another guardian besides her, since there were one Moroi and two novices with her. Apparently, everyone was too "busy."
"I'm hungry, when are we stopping for food?" Jonathan questioned, looking around.
"I don't know. Just wait a little while until everyone else is hungry" Natasha told him, shrugging slightly, but still remaining in guardian mode.
Not the best, but oh well : /

Going off campus was a rare luxury that Dante hadn't had in a while. In any other circumstance he would have been pleased to be away from the academy and its rules and restrictions, but today he would rather be anywhere else other than the place he was. Well to be fair, it wasn't actually the place that bothered him, it was more the company.. no, actually, it was just.. Johnathan. 'Johnathan'.. Dante shook his head and cringed as he walked behind his sister and the future Mr. and Mrs. Ozera. He stared at the back of Johnathan's head and tried to think about anything else other than how tempting it was to just run up and pound it like one of the Strigoi practice dummies he frequently pulverized.
Dante wasn't a bad guy. Yes he did have a bit of a reputation, but in reality he really wasn't that bad. But.. he just couldn't stand Johnathan. Even before the two had met he just knew that he was not going to like him. Ara had gone on and on about how 'cool' the fire using Moroi was and how much Dante would like him, but she didn't mention how full of himself he actually was. And she also didn't mention the fact that he was engaged to Natasha. Not that it really bothered him, I mean yeah he did have a tiny bit of a crush on her, but who wouldn't? But, that's not where the issue really was. The problem, well the main problem, was that Ara adored Johnathan. And maybe Dante didn't actually realize that his jealousy, which he never in a million ice ages would admit to, was the real problem he had but that didn't matter, cause as far as he was concerned the dude was an ignorant and conceited jerk who should stay the hell away from his sister. That way she might actually stop talking about him and his stupid 'amazing' defense strategies. Bleh.
"I'm hungry, when are we stopping for food?" Dante rolled his eyes even though he had been thinking about how hungry he was in between his thoughts of smacking Johnathan upside his head for the last ten minutes or so. "I don't know. Just wait a little while until everyone else is hungry"

Ara had sortta been noticing Dante's lack of enthusiasum over the course of the day. But she was deturmined to have an awsome day soshe mostly ignored it. If she worried about it then she wasn't going to have the most amazing day that she could. She she kept looking around all day and being care free for once. She really shouldn't have been carefree. They were out and about in the dangerous world. Sure, but it was the middle of the day Strigoi wouldn't be coming out. Ara looked up and mentally groaned. Sunset was starting so now she had cause to worry. She suddenly wanted to be even closer to anyone who could keep her safe. The first name that came to mind made her smile and she slowed down slighty and then she walked beside her brother smiling up at him before leaning up against him. No matter what happened Dante would be the most important person in the world to her. No matter who she talked to, how many times she didn't listen to him, pissed him off, he pissed her off or anything, it would always be her brother that she run to.
At the mention of dinner Ara stoppes leaning on her brother but she stood right next to him. "Ooh... I could go for some food when ever everyone else is ready. What about you Dante?" She looked up at him a smile on her face. She could wait to eat but she wanted to at least go soon. In responce to this her stomach growled softly and Ara's grey eyes widened slightly and she clutched her stomach. "I think we might want to go eat sooner than I thought."

The beautiful sun set that began to present itself before the world illuminating the sky with pretty colors that curious eyes constantly got lost in, did not have any effect on Dante's current temperament at all. Usually he would appreciate the little treasures nature created, but right now all he was thinking about was how selfish Johnathan was. Like, really... what kind of guy complains about being hungry without first even bothering to ask his own fiance, or the 'kids' his meant to be chaperoning, if they want to eat? What a jerk. How the hell could Natasha want to marry a dude like that? And more importantly, why the hell did Ara think so highly of him? It just did not make sense, the guy was whack, simple as that.
Dante was surprised when his sister bounded up beside him. He had been to busy ranting in his head to notice her approach. To hide his surprised reaction he leaned toward her and in a playful manner knocked his shoulder on hers. Ara smiled up at him as the group of four walked and he returned her smile with the grin he usually wore, then he turned his vision to the Guardian and tool in front of him. They were close enough together to not loose sight of each other or be broken apart, but far enough away from each other to give them all room to breathe. Natasha was on point. It was just a 'Guardian thing' to be able to give off the illusion of normalcy. Dante knew that she was monitoring Ara and himself even as her back was facing the two of them. He relaxed a little. He didn't want to ruin this day for Ara, they rarely had free moments like this.. he would not spoil it. He'd suck it up and pretend that Johnathan wasn't a royal pain in the ass.
"Ooh... I could go for some food when ever everyone else is ready. What about you Dante?" Dante's attention immediately snapped back to his sister. He nodded. And then her stomach began to grumble. She was hungry. She should of said something sooner. No, he should of noticed sooner, or asked her. Lately he had been focusing on giving her space and not babying her so much, as he knew it sometimes made her upset because she felt like he thought she couldn't do things for herself. But since the incident in the park he had just found everything in his life to be so much harder than it should be, even the little things. "I think we might want to go eat sooner than I thought." Dante laughed. It was genuine. It was so strange how Ara could make him laugh or even just smile whenever his emotional state was at war within itself. He smiled at her through another mini fit of laughter. In reality it probably wasn't really that funny, but to him it was hilarious. "Mmm I think we should all eat." Dante smiled at Ara then looked toward Natasha and Johnathan. "What says you Guardian Contrarez?" He asked in one of his silly imitation British accents that could always made Ara giggle.

Natasha chuckled lightly and Jonathan laughed when Ara's stomach grumbled. They both stopped and turned to face the two students. Natasha's eyes glanced around, staying briefly on the setting sun. She grimaced ever-so-slightly. She turned her eyes back to her company. She smiled, amused by Dante's fake accent.
"I guess so," she said, looking around, "but we can't take too long. We have to be out of here and on our way back to the academy before it gets dark."
Her eyes continued to dance around their surroundings, growing more alert as time went on. She knew they were running behind. Her hand instinctively twitched toward where she kept her stake beneath her long cardigan. She took a breath, and told herself to relax.
"So, what do you guys want to eat?" she questioned, smiling at them. Jonathan shrugged.
"I'm up for anything, really," he answered. He looked to that two students. "How about you two?"

Ara looked at then whne they laughed at her and she stuck out her tounge. "It's not that funny!" She groaaned but she laaughed a little as well. When Dante spoke she looked at him because there was a that British accent there. 'What says you Guardian Contrarez?'
Oh no! Oh no no no no no! Ara shook her head slightly trying no to laugh. She pretty much failed though and she laughed and leaned up against Dante again. "Oh my God!! Dante no fair!! You can't use your accents against me!!! That's not cool!!!" In all honesty Ara had no problems with his accents and Dante knew it even though she always said she did. Real ones never bothered her and they sounded cool but with Dante they were fake and it make Ara laugh. She huged her brother and looked aroung with one arm wrapped around him.
She had listened to Natasha and figured they might as well pick something good. She saw and Italian place and she grined. She absolutly loved Itialian food. It was so amazing. That and she was sure that being part Italian did help. She pointed and said, "Let's go there!! Cause it sounds really really good." She smiled and waited for the responce of everyone else.

"Let's go there!!" Italian food, awesome! Dante smiled at Ara as her grey eyes scanned over the near by restaurant. Maybe this day trip wasn't going to turn out so bad after all. Pizza fixes everything, well almost everything in Dante's world, and nobody could make pizza as good as real Italians could. Ohhhh pasta. Yum. Yep, he could definetely go that too, and maybe even some wedges and sour cream. Ha who was he kidding with the 'maybe', he could definitely eat all of it easily.
"Cause it sounds really really good." "Yeah it does, lets go." Dante answered as soon as the words left his sisters lips. He began to walk toward the delicious meal that awaited him, then stopped before he took an actual step. Even though he was starving like someone who had been marooned on a one man island, he knew better than to just run off like a child. He turned back toward Natasha and hoped to god that she shared Ara and his own love for Italian food. If she didn't, though to any normal food loving person that would be insanity, then they would have to keep wandering and searching for somewhere else nice to eat. But Dante doubted that the young head guardian didn't love Italian food as much as he did, I mean, she was awesome and Italian food was awesome, so it made sense that the two of them would naturally just get a long.
Dante briefly looked at Johnathan, then his grey eyes flicked back to Natasha. If that giant baby said to Natasha that he didn't want to eat here something not good at all was about to go down.

Natasha glanced over at the Italian place they wanted to go to, a small smile on her lips. Natasha had no problem with Italian food, or any food for that matter. She wasn't really a picky person. Her gaze flickered to the setting sun again, however, the sight of it still putting her on edge.
"Sure, Italian sounds great" Jonathan commented, smiling. He was starving and really up for anything edible at the moment. Luckily he enjoyed Italian food. Natasha nodded her head in agreement and turned her gaze away from the horizon and towards her company.
"Alright, here's the plan," she began, her tone serious, "we get in there, get a table. We all order water, 'cause that's quick and we order one pizza for us to share, got it? It doesn't matter what the toppings are. Oh, and no dessert. I don't mean to put a damper on the mood, guys, but we have maybe half an hour before it gets dark outside and we cannot be around when that happens."
Her gaze met theirs and she was pretty sure that they would be able to take this seriously. The last thing Natasha needed was to get attacked by Strigoi. She was sure that she was going to get enough crap from her colleagues for taking this long.
Jonathan nodded in agreement. "Sounds like a plan." He then stepped aside, signalling for the two students to take the lead, knowing Natasha would want it that way.

Ara beamed when everyone agreed with her. She knew Dante would because the two of them ADORED Italian food. she was thinking about all the amazing things she could get pasta pizza bread soup. Oh yea! But her excitment dimed a bit when Natasha spoke. 'Alright, here's the plan, we get in there, get a table. We all order water, 'cause that's quick and we order one pizza for us to share, got it? It doesn't matter what the toppings are. Oh, and no dessert. I don't mean to put a damper on the mood, guys, but we have maybe half an hour before it gets dark outside and we cannot be around when that happens.'
Ara looked at Natasha then she looked up at Dante them smiled slightly. "As much as I agree with getting out of here before dark... I think that plan is a bit flawed. Gaurdian Contrarez.... You have never seen Dante and I eat. you get one pizza Dante and i can polish that off and then polish of a whole bowl of soup and a salad and then be full. Getting one pizza for the four of us to share is not going to be enough... I hate to say it but we need more than that or there is going to be a problem. I really am sorry about that... but Dante and I have always been that way. No dessert? No soup? No big deal honestly but... We gotta get more to fill us up. sorry but yea..." She smiled apologeticly then grabbed Dantes arm and ran to the Italian place and got them a table.
She was a bit worried, but she had reason to be. she agreed with Natasha. The needed to get back to school before night time. She was very scared that Strigoi might come after them. But she hwas going to stuff her face with Italian food she was going to get pasta and pizza and no one was going to stop her. screw the plan she needed food ore her stomach was going to kill her.

Dante listened to Natasha and memorized each of her words as they left her lips. It was one of the novice training skills he constantly practiced in his head. Receive plan/order, register it, and follow through. He was getting a lot better at switching for personal mode to 'guardian' mode, but he broke concentration and laughed at Ara when she explained that one pizza wasn't really going to do anything for either of them. The Ricci children came from a family who believed that meal time was bonding time. Their mother always used to cook for them when they were younger during the better times in their lives, when they had all of their family members still breathing. And these days the Ara and Dante could eat much, much more than what they could as children. They were hard training novices after all.
Ara's hand wrapped tightly around Dante's shoulder as she pulled him toward the restaurant that housed meals he could day dream about for hours. He hesitated slightly before letting her navigate his body along with hers in the direction of the main entrance. The two of them reached the double glass doors and he quickly read and noted that the name of the place they were about to enter was 'Sorenntes'. Must be a family name or something.
Gently he pushed open the door on the right and walked through. Immediately he saw a dark haired hostess standing behind a desk. She smiled up at him and he grinned. He then stepped to the side and used his body to hold the door open and waited for the others to wander in.
Out of the corner of his eye he could see the girl looking in his direction. He made a point of not looking at her, knowing that Ara would tease him if he looked in her way again. Ara was pretty much the only person who could make fun of Dante and actually truly embarrass him. No one else could even come close to turning his cheeks the colors she could. It was weird how he could be so naturally confident around strangers, but when it came to his sister she could make him feel like a child with the use of one word. Or sometimes, she didn't even need to use words, sometimes all it took was for a look to be exchanged between their grey eyes and he would be reduced to embarrassment that even made him laugh.

Viv sat in a chari in a dark corner of a room facing the west glaring at the square tof sunlight from the one window with the curtins open. She was going to sit there until the sun went down and then she was going to... hmmm... That was something she would have to figure out. From the look's for it she had maybe half an hour until she could go and find some food. She was not happy about having to wait. She was hungry now! She tapped her fingers on the arm of her chair and snarled as her phone began to ring. She picked it up and looked at the Caller ID one of her human minions... "This had better be important!" She spat into the phone as she opened it.
The glare on her face slowly turn into a dark and evil half grin half smirk. "Perfect. Keep an eye on them Dave. And keep me posted. What street did you say they were at?........ Okay We shall be there as soon as it's dark and we can get there." She snapped the phone shut and she stood and snarled at the light pouring in from the window. She needed out of this room. She pressed herself against the wall and skirted around the light and rushed out the door and stood in darkness for a moment. Then she let out a soft growl before yelling.
"MORGAN!!!! GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE NOW!!!" she shook her head and leaned aagainst the wall with her arms crossed. She was restless now. Her minion had Found the Dhampir what killed her two minions. sure they had been pretty much usless... but they had been young and shoed some potential. She had replaced them and dismised the whole ordeal but what she had been told chaged that. The Guardian, another guy, and two novices were there. This meant there was two not fully trained Dhamirs and at least one Guardian... the other guy... well Viv wasn't sure about thim bust she was hoping for Mori. That would be yummy.
((mmmkay so yea... time to set up the entrance for the Strigoi... please go ignore this partly because it is not critical for the Ara, Dante, Natasha, and Jonathan part of the thread yet but it will be ^.^))

Natasha felt her eyebrow twitch slightly in irritation. They did know that there was always food at the academy, right? Besides, since when was the point of eating to stuff your face until you're so full you can barely walk? Natasha sighed. The two of them still had a long way to go if they couldn't follow simple orders, whether they liked them or not.
She exchanged a look with Jonathan and he just shrugged, giving her a look as if to say "What can you do?" Which was true. It wasn't as if Natasha could drag them out of there, well, she could, but she would rather not.
Natasha glanced around uneasily as they entered the restaurant. She felt as if someone was watching her. And, with her experience, that usually meant that someone was.
"You guys must really want to get me fired" she commented. Her tone was nonchalant, but the look she gave them stated that she was anything but pleased.
"I hope you guys eat like the wind" Jonathan told them, raising an eyebrow slightly as he sent a pointed glance towards the window. The sun had disappeared even further behind the horizon. It would be dark soon.
Natasha prayed that this wouldn't turn into an "I told you so" situation. She would much rather be called paranoid than have Strigoi attack and hence proving her right. Her eyes darted around as a waitress led them to a table. She mumbled a thanks to Jonathan when he pulled her chair out for her.
"Would you be fine with not ordering anything?" she asked Jonathan quietly behind their menus, "Just so it won't take as long."
Jonathan nodded. "Sure, that's fine." He gave her a concerned look, not liking how on edge she was.

Ara waited a minute or two and then once they were at the table she looked at the menue for a couple of minutes and then smield knowing exactly what she wanted. She ordered a water and smiled apollogeticly to Natasha. She really was sorry about not listening. She would have followed through if it weren't for the pizza part. She had picked the place because a big bowl of Fettichini Alfrado sounded like the most amazing thing in the world. But seeing as they weren't getting that pizza she was going to get some soup as well.
Once everyone was ready and the waitress came to take their food order, while putting a basket of bread sticks on the table, she smiled and spoke up first. "I d like a bowl of Fettechini Alfrado and a bowl of Minastroni soup please.... Thank you." She smiled and sipped her water. waiting for everyone else to order.

After a brief exchange of words with the hostess the moroi, guardian and two novices were led to a table near a large window inside of the restaurant. Dante looked at the window as he took his seat opposite Jonathan and next to Ara. Both Jonathan and Dante sat on the window side of the table. The sunlight outside was beginning to fade and inside the restaurant the lights had been turned on. The pretty lights inside of Sorenntes hung from the ceiling sparkling inside of the glass cased Shields that surround the bulbs. They were reflecting little patterns of light in the window and around other parts of the establishment. It was definitely a nice place to come and eat. Dante quickly glanced around again at his surroundings before returning his attention to the menu he had picked up. His grey eyes skimmed over the fancy text inside of it taking in every option he could choose from. He was starving and everything sounded great. The food around him also smelled great. There were mixes of delicious scents of practically every Italian dish you could think of floating around the room. Dante could distinguish each and every product of food if you asked him to. But so could Ara and Natasha and any other dhampir for that matter. Enhanced sense of smell, both a blessing and curse at times. Though it was definitely more of a curse when you were starving and you could smell the amazing aroma of the Chicken Mushroom Carbonara that the guy at a table not far from your line of vision was digging into.
The waitress popped up beside Natasha and looked at the four of them. She wore the traditional all black attire that many Italian restaurants have their servers wear. She smiled a friendly smile and then asked for their orders. Natasha and Jonathan were still reading their menus, though Dante was pretty sure that both of them were aware of the young womans presence. Natasha was a guardian and nothing really got by her. Ara who had been taking small sips of the water that was in front of her spoke up first. "I'd like a bowl of Fettechini Alfredo and a bowl of Minastroni soup please.... Thank you." Dante looked at Natasha who had lowered her menu while Ara had been ordering. She seemed to be kind of anxious. Dante didn't like that. They were in a perfectly safe and normal place. But they could never really be or act normal. Cause they weren't normal... they were dhampirs. He was a dhampir. And he would one day be a guardian like Natasha. Well hopefully like Natasha, cause she was a great guardian. She had even saved Ara's life during recent times.
Dante felt empathetic toward Natasha. She was doing him and his sister a big favor by letting them have this day trip and he knew exactly why she was on edge. It was already much darker than it had been when they had entered the restaurant and they hadn't even ordered yet. He thought about the situation, and as hungry as he was he knew better than to order all of things he really, really wanted and instead decided to order what Ara had planed to eat, though it would probably sustain his appetite for an hour or two at the most.. He figured it would be much quicker if they all at the same dishes. "I'll have the same, thanks." He said as he handed the menu to the waitress.
