'I think it was supposed to be a left not a right' were the thoughts of the young girl as she wondered down the hallway. She ran her fingers slowly through her hair, frowning as her fingers met a few tangles. She'd grown accustomed to the Vampire schedule....or well perhaps that wasn't the right thing to say. She was becoming accustomed to it. She hated being on their schedule. She really didn't like it. She was finding herself awake during their night time hours. She was way out of her league not yet used to it. She'd gotten a so little sleep lately as she just couldn't get comfortable and being around all these Mori and Damphir's weren't making it easy for her relax and actually be able to sleep. Today was one of those well to them it was the Mori's night time, but to her it was early only just a little past six am. The sun was just beginning to rise and she could see it out one of the windows. She blinked her brown eyes widening slightly as she caught sight of a room that said 'Feeders' On it. 'What's a feeder?' she thought to herself. Her sleep deprived mind not really processing what that was, even though she was well informed about Mori habits, she had to be. Her movements were a little sluggish and her words would of slurred together slightly. She really, really needed her body to adjust to this schedule, if she didn't she was sure she'd never sleep again. Oh she was exaggerating of course but still it was how she currently felt. "Oh there you are, but it's strange you're out by yourself without a Guardian....usually the feeders aren't walking around on their own... but oh I'm sure whoever left you had a good reason" came the smooth velvet words of a tall black haired woman who was coming over to her, placing her hands on her shoulders as she steered her slightly tugging gently on her arm to get her legs to compile and follow her into the room. The Mori hadn't really spared her much of glance must of been far too tired to really have noticed that this 'feeder' wasn't a feeder at all. Adalyn dug in her heels, the hair on the back of her neck rising. "W-wait I'm n-not a feeder whatever that is...let me go!" she said sharply adrenaline coursing hot through her veins as it as her heart was pounding through her veins as she was easily pulled into room despite her struggles. "Come now deary it's alright, you're safe here" came the smooth words of the woman with black hair. Her golden brown eyes took in the room, also the several people that were behind little walls and sitting on stools. As she took a closer look at those few humans that were actually there did she frown. Those people they were blood-whores. She'd heard the endorphins from a vampire bite was pleasurable but she'd never had the luxury of knowing that. A sharp gasp from the other side of the room caught her ears and she glanced over the sight out of curiosity but it soon made her stomach roll. A tall, pale, blond woman bit into the neck of a man in his late twenties. While the man's pain soon turned to little sounds of pleasure as his cloudy blue eyes shut, his voice begging the woman not to stop to take more. The Mori woman had startling violet eyes as she stared at the young Alchemist from over the man's shoulder. This teacher despite it being the wee hours of the morning wasn't stupid. Her lips pulled back in all smile before she pulled up from the mans neck, her white teeth briefly shown with blood. The Mori woman licked carefully at her lips before wiping her mouth with a napkin that was handed to her by another in the room. Addy felt her head pound, fingers reaching up to steady her head. Her vision swam before her eyes and she felt sick all rolled into one. Her fingers moved from her head to her mouth as bile rose in her throat. She swallowed desperate to get her barrings, which she was drastically losing. Her body tensed up in the flight or fight mode. She needed to get out of here! She wasn't a blood-whore, she wasn't a feeder...she wouldn't become dinner do these disgusting creatures! She struck out blindly darting back her hand as it struck the woman holding her in the side of the face, as her foot slammed down on the Mori's foot. A sharp cry left the black haired woman's lips as she immediately let her go. Adalyn didn't give her mind time to realize what was happening, or what she had just done. She'd hit a Mori...for Christ's sake what the hell had she done?! The Mori woman the blond with violet eyes hadn't taken a step toward the other older woman but instead had watched the young Alchemist run down the hall. She bit her tongue to keep from laughing. Addy's feet pounded down the hall, her arms and legs shaking slightly but there was no way in the seven hells she was going to stop now. She didn't even really pay attention to where she was going all she wanted to do was get out of here. Her mind on only one thought. 'Run! Run! Run! Don't stop, get out. Get out, gotta get out'

It was almost sunrise. Amelia was walking down the hallway making her way back to her dorm from the feeders room. She had been up late working on an assignment for her Moroi culture class. She wasn't really into doing much homework these days but this certain project had caught her interests, as it involved learning more about the elements. She always wanted to know more, and often conducted her own little side projects to gather information. Amelia had been interviewing different element users and comparing the pros and cons of their abilities as a part of the assignment. She become so caught up in the information she was compiling that she missed dinner time. She hadn't really been hungry so she decided to keep working till she was done with the section she was working on.
When Amelia again checked the time it was way later than she had expected. She didn't realize just how late it had gotten, and even though she knew she'd be breaking curfew for leaving her dorm at this time of night, she just couldn't stand to go to bed on an empty stomach. Not being able to go where ever you want whenever you want was a major downfall. But it was an Academy rule all the same. Lucky for Amelia though, she was blessed with the power of Spirit, which in turn meant her compulsion powers were much stronger than those of others.
Amelia packed away her hand written research. She again made sure that all of the files she had added to her laptop were copied and saved. She'd had issues before with not backing things up, so now whenever she created a new important file she made sure to check it out, and be one hundred percent positive that she had a copy of it. After she was satisfied that her work wasn't going to mysteriously disappear into thin air, she changed out of the clothes she wore. She felt like she had been wearing them for ages, and she also thought it best to not sneak around in a bright pink shirt. She traded the shirt and skirt she wore for a pair of dark grey jeans, a simple grey singlet and a dark navy hoodie.
What Amelia now wore was her version of being under dressed. Usually the seventeen year old only wore 'casual' looking clothes when she was sick. Her version of casual was very different to the outfit that currently clothed her body. Though she did admit that it was quite comfortable. She would also admit that she didn't mind the occasional hoodie. So long as it was made of a unique looking fabric, or covered in glitter she would wear it. Amelia adjusted her clothes, put on a pair of leopard pattern ugg boots and headed toward the feeders.
Making her way toward the feeders room was easier than she expected that night. She knew the hallways of St. Josephs quite well now. She also knew the habits of most of the Guardians who patrolled late shifts. She had been here for nearly over two years now, and had lots of experience sneaking around places and at times she shouldn't be. It was almost safe to say that she was an expert now at stuff like this. Her abilities a lot of the time came in handy too. They gave her some sort of feeling of safety, because she knew she always had the option to use them if and when she needed to.
Once Amelia had made it to the feeders she made sure to keep her voice as low as possible when speaking to the woman who was on duty while the teachers came in to eat. She had waited till the reception area was clear then gone straight to the receptionist and told her to let her see a feeder and make sure no one else came in till she left. It all went to plan. Amelia got to fed on a middle aged woman who was over joyed at the sight of her. When she was finished she headed out to the receptionist and told her to forget that she was ever there, and then she left just as easy as she had come.
So now as Amelia made her way back to her dorm room she tried to remain as quiet as possible. Even though she had no reason to really be on edge, there was no point in drawing attention to herself that she could avoid. She was far from the feeders room now. And just as she was going to turn another corner something smacked right into the back of her body. The impact was hard. It knocked her forward. She screamed silently not wanting to make more noise. Whatever it was definitely did not mean to hit her. It must of been running from something. But why? Amelia had no clue. She lay on the ground for a second, her hoodie covering her auburn hair, and masking her face from view of the person that knocked her over. Guardians did not chase students down like that for breaking curfew. She turned her head slightly to look at the unknown running person.

Adalyn had been looking over her shoulder behind her, not at all paying attention to the girl behind her. Her breath was coming out way too fast, and she felt her chest constrict as her panic surged through her system. She was barely remembering to breath, much less watch where she was going. 'Their going to god...that's what a feeder is...they feed off blood...real live human blood' her thoughts only made her head hurt. Her breathing was way too fast, and way to shallow. She was going to make herself pass-out if she didn't calm down. She moved her head back around just in time she smash her whole body into the back of someone's head and back. She let out a startled cry, and fell back on her butt, her hands reaching down and back behind her to try and break her fall. She felt her left hand twist and the pain the erupted was enough to make black dots dance before her gold-brown eyes. She sucked in a breath sharply through her nose and she scooted back. She was nervous as she scrambled to her feet, her back hitting the wall behind her. She didn't' let her gaze waver from the figure on the ground, her legs locked and shaking, but now she couldn't get them to move. As her left hand was pulled protectively to her chest, her other hand was clenched in a knuckle white grip at her side. 'Run!, God damn it Addy Run! Move, Move damn it MOVE!' she heard her mind screaming at her body to comply. She heard a small whimper leave her slightly parted lips, as her chest rose and fell with each breath she took. She couldn't' even realize that nose had come from her. She didn't say anything, as she watched the person stand up, her mind cutting through it's panic stricken haze long enough to tell her that this wasn't a Guardian....it was much worse it was a Mori, a Mori who drank blood just liked that blond woman with the violet eyes that had enjoyed it way too much. She opened her mouth to speak but found that no sound came out as her wide, fearful eyes didn't leave the girl's.

Amelia peered up at the unknown person from the ground. She appeared to be in just as much shock as the young woman who stared down at her. Amelia had no idea who the woman was. She didn't recognize her at all, and taking a closer glance at her she realized that she was human. What the? It's not a normal thing for humans to just be running around the halls of St. Josephs, especially at this time of night.
The young girl was in shock. She blinked a few times while trying to make sense of the situation. Had she hit her head without realizing? Was the girl before her a figment of her imagination? Was she so deprived of sleep, that her recent feed had her dreaming of humans running down hallways chasing her? No. That impact was real. She felt it. She still felt it now. Felt her bones aching. This definitely was not a dream. She was defiantly not that crazy... yet.
The seventeen year old Spirit User slowly got to her feet. She looked around the girl who she heard jump to her feet just seconds after their collision, trying to figure out what the hell was going on. Amelia began to panic. Her arms wrapped around her body. She felt threatened by the other girl. Then she realized that she was even more scared then Amelia herself was. She could her the girls breathing. Intense deep breaths of a person stuck in fear. "Are you ok?" She found her self asking, even though she was the one who had been injured. The poor girl look frightened out her mind. Guardians. They could help. She should call them. Call anyone. But then she'd be in so much trouble. Why was this girl here? She should just leave her. But how could she? "Why were you running? Amelia tried to keep her voice clam, though nothing about the situation was calm at all. She needed to make sure the girl was alright, but she also needed to get the hell out of there. "Is someone trying to hurt you?"

Adalyn closed her eyes for a brief second before they were opened again. One hand her injured one went to her cheek, running over the golden Lilly tattoo that was on her cheek, as she took another breath. Her head tilting slightly catching a few of the sun's early rays as her tattoo glimmered in the light, reflecting gold on the ground about them in a few gold strands of light. She took her other hand and balled it up into a fist afraid she might have to fight her way out.
As the other girls words slowly began to register in her mind she took another breath, slowly relaxing enough that she could speak. "Y-yes" she mumbled as she answered the girl's last question, it was clear she wasn't OK, her wrist hurt, she knew she'd sprained it. "Sorry" she said softly her voice barely a whisper but it was gaining strength as her panic slowly started to fade. "I'm not a feeder, I'm an Alchemist and you creatures should know better then to lump us in with those people. We keep the humans from knowing about you! And you try to bite me the first chance you get...." she said breathlessly as her voice had raised several notches as she spoke at a normal volume now. "So no, not really OK, but I'll live. Who are you? You seem a lot smarter then that other Mori woman" she said with a note of disgust in her voice as she referred to the woman who'd ignored her Lilly tattoo and assumed she was a feeder, a blood whore.
Her golden-brown eyes trailed over the other girl, realizing she could of been seriously hurt as she'd run into her. "Are you alright?" she asked as she remembered she had to be good, she forgot a lot of the Royal Mori sent their kids here and wouldn't it her luck if she wound up injuring a Royal? Her boss would have her head. 'Smooth move Addy you sure have managed to screw up again' she thought to herself as she blinked fast to hide her emotions as she pulled her left hand a little closer to her chest, she'd sprained her wrist it wasn't anything serious it just hurt...but she couldn't let that show. 'What will they do to me when they found out I hit that Mori...?' at that thought all the color drained from her face and her right hand seized the Celtic knot that hung around her neck from a silver chain. Alchemist! Wait what? Why was there an Alchemist wandering, scratch that, running down the academy hall ways trampling people? Amelia had to slow down and rewind. The lack of sleep was playing with her hearing. She replayed the conversation quickly in her head. Are you ok? Why were you running? Is someone trying to hurt you? Yes. Sorry. I'm not a feeder, I'm an Alchemist and you creatures should know better then to lump us in with those people. We keep the humans from knowing about you! And you try to bite me the first chance you get! So no, not really OK, but I'll live. Not a feeder. The words repeated in her head. Not a feeder. I'm an Alchemist. You creatures. Try to bite me the first chance you get. Maybe Amelia had hit her head after all. This was just too much to processess.
Amelia stared at the girl before her. She was looking at her without really looking at her. She had a tendency to do this every now and then, but it mostly happened when she was in deep thought or when she was just plain confused. "Who are you? You seem a lot smarter then that other Mori woman."Amelia heard the 'Alchemist' speak but was in to much of a daze to answer. She knew a bit, but not much, about the Alchemists, well she knew the basics anyway. They were the people who kinda cleaned up after Strigoi, Moroi and Dhampir 'incidents', and not a whole lot of people in the Moroi world knew about them. Amelia herself, only knew of them because of one of her tutors. She always begged him to tell her about their world after lessons, just so she could some how be connected to things her father wanted to keep from her, and one day they had been discussing religion, and her tutor at the time had told her about 'Lily People'. She could not believe that she had just run into one, or one had run into her.
"Are you alright?" The question pulled her back into reality. She was so used to people asking her that question that she answered the three words automatically with three words of her own. "Yes, I'm fine." She replied those words to that question whenever it was directed at her, no matter what she was really feeling. Though at present she was actually fine, other than being sore from the crash, and wanting to throw a zillion questions at the Alchemist, and also wanting to get back to her room where she could not be punished for breaking curfew. "Amelia Ozera." She said softly, remembering the girls original question. Amelia's arms remained wrapped around her body. Her posture relaxed and she realized that she was way more sore than she previously thought. This would hurt like a bitch tomorrow.
As far as Amelia could tell from what the young Alchemist had said, the girl had been mistaken for a feeder. No wonder she was freaked out, Amelia would of been too if she was in her position. That also explained the running, kind of. But why was she here? Had something happened? Were they stationing Alchemists at all the academies now? And if so why? What good would that do? Amelia was more than confused. She stared at the other girl knowing that she should leave, she could easily compel her into forgetting they had met, but she was too curious to move.

Addy closed her eyes and brought her hand down her face as she let out an annoyed breath not directed at Amelia but at herself and the situation. She wondered how she'd manged to get into this situation in the first place. How had she managed to get pulled into the crazy world? Her parents didn't even want her to be an alchemist in fact they wanted her dead, once she was out of the way it would be easier to get her baby brother Grayson into the Alchemists then it was getting her in.
"My names Adalyn Trinity" she told her looking around for several guardians that she was sure would be around soon. "Look umm I hate to cut this short but I have to get going before they find out I hit that blond bemboo" she said hooking her thumb back towards where she'd come from down one of the hallways. She waited wondering if this Mori would be getting out of here as well, considering she was student she was passed curfew as well and so far didn't seem to be much of a threat at least as far she knew. So far she seemed pretty nice.

Adalyn Trinity? Amelia was sure she had never heard of her, but it was an interesting name, and one she would not soon forget. "Look umm I hate to cut this short but I have to get going before they find out I hit that blond bimbo." Shit. The Guardians. Amelia had completely forgotten about the Guardians. She had become too caught up in this strange young womans presence. She wanted, no she needed to know more. But there was no time. If she got busted that would be the end of her. It would expose her and leave her open for investigation. And if that happened, then the academy would find out that she had been cutting classes, and then they would notify her father and he'd pull her out of academy.
Amelia nodded. She knew the Alchemist would be ok. It was simply just a misunderstanding on her part, but if Amelia got caught she'd loose more than the respect of the academy staff... she'd loose her whole life here. "It's ok. You won't get in trouble, they're not going to hurt or punish you. It was all just a misunderstanding. I mean I get it, if I was you I'd freak out too. But don't worry. You should probably apologize though, the receptionists around here work in all the offices, and you don't want to get on their bad sides, they make it harder to get things done. " Amelia smiled at the girl, she knew exactly how scared she still was, she could see it in her aura. She hoped her words had eased her fear a bit.
"Just head back the way you came. They're probably already looking for you to make sure you're alright." Amelia's hands slid down from her ribcage and turned to leave. She looked back over her shoulder. "Oh and Adalyn, I was never here." She didn't feel the need to compulse her, for some strange reason she felt as if Adalyn could be trusted. After all it was an Alchemists job to keep secrets.
