History:
Alyssa, at the age of six, moved to America to avoide an impending Strigoi attack on her area. Her family not being royals didn't got a lot of coverage and protection from dangers unknown, so to avoid harm coming from their only daughter Alyssa's parents sent her to St. Joseph Academy. From that point on Alyssa became a very studious child and grew to the top of her class.
At the age of eleven, Alyssa specialized in fire magic. And at the age of sixteen she began training herself like many other Moroi to use her skills and wits against the rising Strigoi numbers. Now at the ripe age of nineteen, Alyssa is nearing graduation and has plans to move into Court to continue her training with other who have rose to the cause.

Martial Status: Currently single, and has no plans of settling down any time soon.
Personality:
Alyssa could be compared to an owl in many ways, she's studious, wise, quiet, and observant. Alyssa finds more company in the library then she does anywhere else, and prefers to spend a day there anywhere else on campus.
Alyssa is calm when left alone, and could make the perfect rainy or snowy day companion, so in that way maybe she's more like a lap dog without the slobber and neediness, just don't take her for granted. Alyssa can become a quarrelsom foe in a heartbeat for all those who rub her the wrong way, or take her for granted. It's much better to get on her good side, or leave her to her solitude.
Likes:
Holidays - Though this is probably true for everyone, Alyssa loves any day where she has an excuse to do nothing. While she enjoys having her scheduled booked up with homework and other activities to keep her busy all the time, she could never pass up a day to just lay back, and do nothing. Her favorite holliday must be Easter, since it gives her a full four days off starting on Good Friday to Easter Monday.
Mystery Novels - If anyone passes Alyssa in the library they assume her nose is always stuck in school work or educational scripture. But in all honesty Alyssa is probably sunken deep in a Mystery. She's almost read the school out of fresh material, and sends in a request for a new book every other day.
Long Hair - For girls, long hair is nothing special. But if there's anything Alyssa loves more is men with long hair. She thinks it's irisistable, and has no idea why. Any men that comes onto her--although there haven't been any--can instantly win her over with long locks.
Dislikes:
Royal Benefits - Alyssa doesn't speak up about it. But the Royal Moroi can be a real pain when they want to. They get the best feeders, the best protection, and the best housing. What difference does a last name make? We're all the same species. Her disliking for the royal only covers the ones who have their noses stuck so high up they can't see, some royals on the other hand can be good company if they feel like it.
Short Hair - Alyssa already loves men who have long hair, but with short hair it's almost the opposite. Alyssa can't stand the sight of men who have their hair cut so short you can barely run your finger's though it. It make's her grimise thinking of it, and the sad truth is there are so many men out there with their hair like this.
Muggy Weather - This should go for everyone, but Alyssa can't stand when the air is so warm and there isn't a single breeze. It makes it hard to comfortably do anything.
Fears:
Burning - It's ironic that Alyssa specialized in fire magic, because her biggist phobia would have to be fire. Any kind of fire. She can't be around open flames without panicing. And although she manages to keep calm around others about it, she still can not stand using her magic for anything other then the big picture of learning to fight Strigoi.
Strigoi Attacks - Again, this probably goes for everyone, but Alyssa is terrified about another Strigoi attack. She doesn't want to lose anyway through them, and every time she has to sit through class and talk about the 'dangers' of a Strigoi she almost loses her mind. Her parents taught her not to worry about the future but it's hard not to when the Strigoi numbers are rising.
Hopes: Alyssa has always dreamed of starting a revolutionary new ara. She wants royal status to drop, and for all Moroi to be equal. She also wants to lead a big part of the Moroi redemtion, and for everyone to learn how to protect themself. Of course this is just a dream, and it won't be happening anytime soon, but a girl can dream.

Roleplay Example: This is taken from a role play on my own forum: Pokemon Legacy,
Kaida shook her spongy fur out onto her drenched make-shift nest. It was storming last night more than usual, and she didn't even get the chance to make it all the way home before the wind completely stopped her progress.
The storm had uprooted a lot of trees, and when Kaida got the soggy lump of fur off her eyes she realized how bad the storm really hit. The sand down on the coast line was rippled in huge hills, and the grassy plains were littered with leaves and branches. Even Mt. Ridgit looked sad and slippery.
"Ugh," Kaida licked her fur, she hated rain--well, not just rain, any kind of water. And there had been too much of it last night. She was about to trudge her way back home, when a curious sight caught her attention. From a distance...It looked to be some big dragon, a Pokemon Kaida had never met before. All afterthoughts of the storm passed as Kaida worked her sore little paws down to the beach where she had spotted the new being. It looked huge, even from a distance, and there was something small and brown following it. Were they friends? Maybe they were doing some beach clean-up. Because Arceus knew the island needed it.
And so the stalking mission began. Kaida reached the new folks in record time, and she soon found out the small brown blob was another like her. Although the large dragon looked completely and utterly unknown--never before had Kaida met a Pokemon like this one. It was blue and pinkish striped, with some black thing around the neck and flaring off into cloth like ribbons. Kaida had also noted it had weird hands, they were like small mouths. What was this thing?
