Amelia stared wide eyed at the girl who sat next to her. "Are you being serious right now?" Nobody had ever really asked her to make anything for them let alone wedding gowns. She usually kept her creations to herself, and unless someone asked where she got an item she was wearing, after they had of course complimented it, she didn't ever go around bragging about her work. That's probably why as of yet no one had asked her to design something for them."Cause if you're serious that would be amazing!"
As usual to what happened to Amelia when she got excited about something, a thousand things rushed through her head, and the rambling flow of questions rushed from her light pink glossed lips. "What style were you thinking? What kind of colors do you like? Are you going for the traditional white wedding? Or something modern? You'd look great in blue! I'm seeing the dress in blue! Not like a full on blue, but like a lighter fade to white/slivery blue." Amelia paused for a second. Tilted her head while examining the girl. Smiled. Then continued with her ramble."That kinda blue would really compliment you. Your eyes would like ah-mazing." She started with the hand gestures. "Strapless! You have to go strapless! Maybe backless to! Like a boned corset type body! That would be insane on you!"
The seventeen year old looked at the bride to be. She hoped she hadn't overwhelmed her with her questions and crazy rambling. "Sorry it's just that no ones really ever asked me to do anything like this." She gave her a tiny sympathetic I'm-sorry-that-I-talk-like-a-kid-hyped-up-on-coke-all-the-time smile. "I can go a bit overboard sometimes. I'll try to calm down."

Natasha laughed at Amelia's reaction.
"No, I'm so cruel as to trick you like that" she said sarcastically, "of course I'm serious."
She grinned. Her eyes widened slightly as Amelia started firing off question after question at her. When Amelia was finally done talking, Natasha's mouth was hanging slightly open and it took her thoughts a moment to catch up. Natasha wasn't used to someone rambling like that, Amelia seemed to be even worse than Jill. But it was ok. It actually rather amused Natasha.
"Uh," she began, trying to remember all the questions, "I was thinking like a modern dress, slightly on the simple side, but not too simple if you know what I mean. I want my dress to be white, y'know, it being my first marriage and all. The blue thing sounds cool too, though. Maybe that could be the color for the bridesmaids' dresses. Or maybe it could be incorporated into my dress somehow, like a sash around the waist or something. Uh yeah, strapless could be good, and backless."
She couldn't help but laugh slightly, already confusing herself.
"How about you just draw like a rough draft and I'll tell you what I think?" she questioned in amusement.

"That's a good idea. Then I'll need to take your measurements and we can start picking out materials!" Amelia smiled again becoming over joyed at the thought of making a wedding dress. "And then.." She stopped. Checked herself and made a mental note to try extra hard to not ramble in front of the guardian again. "Sketches are um probably a good place to start." She said in a much calmer and more normal tone.
"So what about your dream guy?" Amelia began to wonder what the mystery man looked like. "Is he like doing the traditional tux? Cause you two totally need to match, or like at least blend a bit." Images of future husbands in beautiful wedding attire from various magazines and blogs flashed through Amelia's head. Weddings were beautiful celebrations full of so much thought and effort. Amelia wondered if the guardian and would hire a planner or just do the whole thing herself. Amelia would do it all herself if she got married, which was doubtful. She didn't really think marriage was something she really wanted.

Natasha's lip twitched as she held in an amused laugh when she noticed that Amelia had to actually make an effort to keep from rambling.
"Yeah, he's going to wear a tux" Natasha answered as she nodded. She pictured Jonathan in a tux and couldn't help but smile. Yeah, that was something she couldn't wait to see.
"Maybe his tie could be that blue color" she offered. She frowned slightly, not quite sure. Natasha was good with fashion, but she had never been a so called "fashionista." Clothes weren't that high on your list when you're a guardian. Especially since they wore their uniform practically all day.

The idea of the groom having a matching tie to the brides dress was Amelia liked. It would be a nice little addition to the visuals of the ceremony. "Yeah that'd be cool. You could also color theme it so all the guests have to wear certain colors or tones, like I saw an all pink guest dress theme one time. Everyone was decked out in different colored pink tones. That's a bit overboard for me. But you could like do a light colored theme. Have all women attending wear really bright/light colored dresses and the men wear ties of the same sort." Amelia smiled. This was going to be fun. "Or you & your fiance could pick your two favorite colors and have the guests wear those two colors."
Amelia wondered what the future Mr. and Mrs. two favorite colors would look like on a room full of their guests. Or maybe it was going to be an outdoors ceremony. Maybe it would be on the beach. Beach weddings were beautiful, or that's what Amelia thought anyway. She hadn't really been to many weddings. She wasn't didn't really know a lot of her family members either, so she didn't get to attend any of their weddings over the years.

Natasha nodded thouhgfully. "Yeah, that's a good idea, but we don't want too much of one color..."
"Or you & your fiance could pick your two favorite colors and have the guests wear those two colors."
Natasha smiled. "Yeah, but it would probably look like a Christmas party or something. My favorite color is green and Jonathan's, my fiance, favorite color is red. So, yeah."
Natasha chuckled as she pictured the scene in her head. Yeah, it really did look like a Christmas party or something. It might have worked if they had a Christmas time wedding, but even then it would probably seem cheap/cheesy.

"Yeah, but it would probably look like a Christmas party or something. My favorite color is green and Jonathan's, my fiance, favorite color is red. So, yeah." Amelia laughed along with the guardian. "Ok scratch that idea."
"I don't think it really matters what anyone else, besides you, is wearing anyway. I mean like, it's supposed to be your day. You only get married for the first time once. And the main focus is you and your future husband. All that really matters is that the two of you are happy and that you get to share the special day with the people you love."
Amelia smiled and out of habit flipped her long auburn waves of hair back over her shoulder when she shifted position on the floor."But on the other hand, any excuse to go all out is a good one right? So what kinds of styles would you like the bridesmaids dresses? Do you want them to all be the same? Or just of the same color or pattern? How many brides maids are you having?"

Natasha nodded and chuckled slightly. "Yeah, just as long as no one else wears white."
After Jonathan has asked her and she had said yes, Natasha spent half of her free time doing nothing but researching weddings. Apparently it was a big no-no for someone besides the bride to wear white.
"Uh, I would like the bridesmaids dresses to be slightly simple, with a hint of sexy, but not too sexy. Yes, I would like them to be all the same, or at least really similar. Uh I have three bridesmaids and two maids of honor, but they can wear the same dresses... I think" she frowned slightly. Natasha wasn't sure whether the bridesmaids and the maids of honor wore the same things. She might have to look that up.

Amelia wasn't sure whether the guardian was asking her if the maids of honor wore the same dresses as the brides maids, or if she was thinking out loud, like Amelia often did. She decided to offer up some information she knew about the subject anyway. "Traditionally a maid of honor or in this case maids, wear a dress of the same color/fabric as the bridesmaids dresses, but in a different style. Or they wear the same dress & have their hair styled different to the rest of the bridesmaids, and wear distinguished jewelry."
"But this is your wedding, so you should have things your way. What do you think? What would suit your brides maids and maids of honors? You have to think of their body shapes. Not everyone looks good in the same thing. With your figure you could totally pull off a micro mini strapless satin green dress. The contrast with your hair and eyes would be amazing. But me? I would look ridiculous, like a pale Christmas tree on fire." Amelia laughed at her own stupid joke about her hair color. She actually did like it, but sometimes she wondered what it would look like if she changed it. Maybe went blond or light brown. It's amazing how different you can look by just dyeing your hair a new color. Maybe she would try it over the next holidays.

Natasha nodded as Amelia explained the difference between what the bidesmaids and the maids of honor typically wear.
"Yeah, I think I'll do that..." she said. Her face became thoughtful as she tried to imagine it.
Natasha laughed when Amelia said she would look like a Christmas tree on fire if she wore a green dress. Probably.
"Hm, well, I don't think it should be too much of a problem. Let's see. Two of my bridesmaids are Moroi, the other is, uh, human"- she didn't know what Amelia would think of that -"One of my maids of honor is a Moroi while the other is a dhampir. I couldn't choose between my two best friends" she smiled at Amelia. "But I think they would all look good in whatever color..."
She frowned, unsure. It was hard to imagine every color there was, and all of the ones her mind was giving her looked fine.

"Hm, well, I don't think it should be too much of a problem. Let's see. Two of my bridesmaids are Moroi, the other is, uh, human." Amelia nodded while the guardian listed the species of her bridesmaids. She was trying to draw up a mental picture of their body types. Usually Moroi women were tall and slender. They had modelesque type figures. Humans on the other hand came in many shapes and sizes, so that would be more tricky. Amelia needed more details plus she was also curious as to why/how the guardian had a human friend. Amelia wasn't really connected to their world much before the last two or so years, but even this was something new to her. She wanted to ask the guardian about it, but instead kept her lips sealed. She didn't want to interrupt the guardian with her questions. She had talked enough and rambled even more than she should have today in front of this girl.
"One of my maids of honor is a Moroi while the other is a dhampir." Amelia smiled. She liked that the guardian had such an eclectic wedding party. It would make for an interesting ceremony. "That's cool. Why two maids of honor though?" She questioned out of curiosity. "I couldn't choose between my two best friends." Amelia smiled and nodded in response. She got that. Must be unfair for Strigoi. Amelia mused while thinking of how sweet the girl sitting next to her seemed. She couldn't choose between her two best friends so she made them both maids of honor. She looked like a typical pretty girl. It was a lie. Well except for the pretty part. She was a warrior. A killer in disguise. A beautiful girl who not only had looks to kill but skills to kill as well. Strigoi definitely did not have an advantage when it came to this guardian. Most of them would probably assume her to be quite an easy target. Amelia knew they would be dead wrong.
"But I think they would all look good in whatever color..." That cheeky smile Amelia sometimes got when thinking of something that she wanted to do, or something she wanted to happen, seemed to appear on her pretty lips. Then toned down into a smaller smile, but a smile none the less. This wasn't her wedding. It was the guardians. "Well than I say we do this right! Your wedding... you pick the color."

Natasha's thoughtful face came on in reply to Amelia's statement.
"I'll have to talk it over with Jonathan. Although, knowing him, he'd probably say something like 'I want whatever you want'" she did a bad impression of Jonathan's voice when she said that. She grinned and rolled her eyes, just imagining it.
"Then we'll probably get in a little argument about it and then we'll make up. It's a big cycle" she joked as she chuckled. She did blush slightly, however, since their making up usually consisted of making out, not like she was going to mention that. But Amelia was a teenage girl, she was sure that was already the conclusion the young girl came to, that and possibly more. That just seemed to be how the teenage mind worked. Natasha wouldn't really know, she had always been mature for her age.

The grin on Amelia's face could not be wiped away with even a window wiper. It was that big. She didn't need to say anything about what she was thinking, she was pretty sure her facial expression said it all. "Yeah cool. Just let me know when you do, so I can get a better idea of what to do for your dress." Seeing other pieces of the puzzle always made it easier to complete the whole picture. Pieces of the puzzle. Pieces of the puzzle.. Amelia had this feeling that she was forgetting something, but she just couldn't put her finger on what it was. She mentally tried to shrug the feeling away but she still felt it there inside her lingering. It was like the after shock of an earth quake. You knew it happened and could come and go whenever it pleased, but you were never fully prepared for it.
The green eyed Moroi tried to focus but her thoughts became blurry the way they sometimes did when she began to sober up. When the little headaches crept into her mind and played with her brain cells, tricking them in ways she didn't really understand. Spirit could be a real bitch at times. Amelia knew that the guardian would know something was up, it was her job to observe things after all. She couldn't just pull out the flask that was hidden in her bag and start sculling it they way she could in front of her friends, who thought it was badass that should could drink the heavy stuff straight without the help of chasers, though she wished she could. The guardian as cool as she was, would definitely not approve of such behavior. Amelia had one other option.. bail.

"Yeah cool. Just let me know when you do, so I can get a better idea of what to do for your dress."
Natasha just nodded thoughtfully. She opened her mouth to comment, but it died off as she felt the atmosphere change. It was an all too familiar feeling. Natasha instantly reacted, though it didn't appear so, since she had to remain calm.
"Amelia," she said calmly, "look at me and focus on me. Everything's ok. There's no one out to get you. I'm here. I'll protect you."
Natasha wasn't exactly sure if these words would work. This girl wasn't Lissa, who had also had Rose to suck away the darkness. Natasha doubted that this girl had brought someone back to life. But she could see the urge to flee in Amelia's eyes, and she didn't want that to happen.

"Amelia, look at me and focus on me. Everything's ok." Part of the spirit using Moroi's attention wavered from the darkness. She was still zoning out but the voice of the guardian who was trying to comfort her, slightly broke through the emotions that were beginning to come to the surface. "There's no one out to get you." Amelia forced all her effort on focusing on the girl as she had instructed. She repeated the words in her head like some strange little mantra. Focus. Focus. Focus. "I'm here." Focus. "I'll protect you." The feelings disappeared just as quickly as they had come.
Amelia's hand slid under the leg furthest from the guardian. Her hand gripped the side of her leg and peach painted nails dug into the dark grey jeans she wore. She tried to focus all her energy on that one spot. "I'm sorry." She turned her head away and stared at the books in front of her. She couldn't look at the other girl right now, she was scared what kind of expression she would see on her face. Amelia felt stupid whenever things like this happened in front of other people. Though it had been along time since another person had seen her freak out like this. She usually was very good at keeping it under control. But lately things were becoming harder. She had more urges to use her powers and she just couldn't block them out as well as she would of liked to. "It just happens sometimes." She said as if that explained everything.
